Trace a tune's sections

Label repeated and contrasting sections on your own copy of a tune. Listen for where the melody returns and where it changes. Comparing structure can be useful before attempting a faster performance.

Keep the finished note with its date and source material. Return to it when you repeat the exercise, and add what changed rather than replacing the earlier observation.
